SD CARD REKT

so i was trying to install gentoo on my tablet (in a chroot) {AllWinner Q8 EM63} {Android 4.4.2} and every time i try to mke2fs a card it becomes read-only and i am unable to make any changes. sadly i admit the instructions i used were from reddit, but they look legit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/16ifza/install_gentoo_in_a_chroot_on_android/
i have had this problem before when formatting sdcards with terminal emulator. anyone know a way to fix the card? gparted try's to format it and even windows (i tried) and i tried fsck already, it finds like 50 errors and claims it fixed them every time same issue, so it isn't able to actually write to the card.

I had a similar issue with a 16gb MicroSD from Sandisk. Tried everything, write protection will not remove, tried registry mod, using a SD adaptor, chdsk, said fuck it and bought a new one.
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdx bs=4M
replace x with sdcard device index
