It didn't use mtp it used a special zmtp so you were locked into there player.
The player itself was great though ill give them that, but it was Windows only for a long time.
Zune pass was a good idea. Rent songs and get to keep 10 a month permentaly.
I liked that the hd had a digital radio, the screen was nice too.
What really made the zune hd not compete with the iPod touch was that the zune didn't have many games on it. You also couldn't watch youtube on it.
Zune did have a nice homebrew community though. Homebrew was piss ez on the zune

Zune hd is a thing of beauty. The screen quality is nice, had a lot of great features. It just wasn't the ipod touch so people didn't want it because muh apple.
