Will making my own Windows 10 VPN stop my ISP from finding out I torrent? They found out I torrented Full Metal Jacket and Time Warner (not even my current ISP) billed me.

How can they bill you if they're not your ISP?
Scary looking letters saying "We have proof that you torrented X, pay us Y or we take you to court" don't count. You can usually ignore those, since in most cases, they don't have sufficient proof to win a court case, and are just fishing for free money.

Haha, they used to be my ISP and I figured since I just noped the fuck out they looked through their secret illuminati files and dug through all the porn I watched to find illegal piracy content, I ignored the bill tho. It was connected to Warner Bros if I remember correctly too, but I just threw it away.
