I enjoyed the show I think it showed hacker culture to a more mainstream audience and is a great contemporary show. I really liked the struggle of the main protagonist and felt realistic as a drug and computer user myself. To say that nobody on /g/ liked it is just lying. Perhaps they do shill a lot but I don't really care since I like the show and perhaps other director's wil see that this works and make more series/movies of people in the hacker/maker community. This wil grow those communities grow and transform.
Mr. Robot will get a Season 2. I haven't even watched the first yet. But I'm going to atleast watch the pilot episode of the series. I'll probably drop it after
