Self-mounted. Not really that difficult to do, you just a need a drill that can go through stone and some screws. Same story for my second monitor, the part it's hanging from was actually part of the stand on which it previously stood. You should be able to find everything you need in any home supply store.

How the fuck do all you guys have desktops and pristine desks and shit? Obviously some of you are teenagers, so I guess that makes sense, but me, I'm a 24 year old web developer, so I live in a flatshare and use a laptop because I don't really have the space to have a desk and a desktop and all that. And I probably wouldn't want a nice as fuck desktop in a flatshare anyway in case it got knicked.
So what's the deal? Are you all just teenagers and NEETs living with mummy and daddy? Or maybe you do have jobs, you're in your 20s and 30s, but you spend all your disposable income on expensive technology you don't need just to impress strangers on the internet? Instead of spending money on things that normal 20-somethings like myself do, i.e. going out and getting drunk, or taking girls out?

- Get rid of the giant surge protector under my second monitor (it's like 10"x10", just a giant fucking square).
- Get a new thin surge protector, mount it underneath my desk and tidy up my wiring.
I also ordered a 36x11" mousepad to replace my shitty razer sphex. I want monitor arms but my desk doesn't support clamps.

Let's see (I'm the faggot that is the OP).
I didn't really have any kind of concept of how I'd want to decorate my room at any point. Just about all of the decorations that you see are things which I picked up on various different occasions throughout the course of time.
Whenever I get a new piece of decorative something, I look around and see where it would best fit in with what's already there. Most of my anime related decorations got/get delegated to upper part of my computer corner, since that's where I have my manga collection.
The stuff in my tinkering corner such as the scarf, the shield and mx switch poster don't really share a common theme (the scarf would be allocated to my manga corner given it's origins), but quite often you'll notice that things fit together with some other thing, which was there already since ages, really well.
Having the display case between the two bookshelves is quite a simple matter of symmetry, something that you should also look out for if you want stuff to look like it fits together and wasn't just thrown together at random.
Though I'm surprised that you don't consider a display case somewhat exaggerated.
