DWM needs to be recompiled feverytime it's configured iirc. Openbox doesn't have native tiling. LUA allows more extensibility since the entire thing is written in it, and you can take libraries from anything and pull them directly into your RC file instead of writing seperate scripts.

a family member gave me another one as well. I decided to use it as an always on desktop for whatever reasons and a standalone home server. its odd though : some things its snappy and works flawlessly. Other times its a PITA.
For example the HDMI cable it came with ? yeah it could not auto-detect the monitor at all and forced it to some crazy weird overscan, low res, all stretched out at a really low refresh rate. Spent an hour trying different configs to no avail. Used the HDMI from my PS3 and it worked fine...

okay. I'm cleaning some hacks up that I had in my userChrome.css (adding them to their necessary locations in the Orthodox theme). added all of the necessary graphics to the OAM (from the Classic Default theme which has been broken for years). Also scraped through old versions of chatzilla to get the necessary usermode icons and smileys (had to make a few of the smileys myself as there were no classic alternatives).
About to remove some OS X specific stuff that I needed for some broken nightlies awhile back (yikes), but overall, I think it's in its final stages for re-release. gonna email kriukov and see if he'd be okay with it.
