Lo/g/os failed because everyone went to work on ricedb and then abandoned that project.
Instead of being retards who keep on trying to pander to /gee/ a proper OS should have a broader function and audience in mind, a greater niche than "shitposter OS" that's something more than just a spin.
I think a decent operating system idea could be a system with anonymity/security features that doesn't look like ass. Tails is great and all, but it could look better. Tails being the one distribution built for privacy is also a bit of a concerning notion on it's own.
An even simpler notion could be an entirely libre, FSF approved distro that, like mentioned earlier, is not ass.
