So i got a "lexibook tv game console" (i couldnt find any serial no whatsoever on the package or device) for x-mas by far relatives. It has some pretty shit games n stuff. It comes with two NES-like IR controllers and a 4 GB sdcard preloaded with games. I was wondering if i could port some games (quake / doom / a nes emulator) to it. I copied two games (Gold Digger & Calculator) from the sdcard and disassembled with ida pro as they had ELF headers. it said it is s+core architecture (32bit), and it had some debugging symbols (pic related). It also had some system-like binary on it (but maybe it is just a menu and every game is like an OS). I can share the files if you want me to. Can anyone help me find some resources for data sheets or an ide or a compiler for this? Also suggestions on what can i use it for?

the knowledge you seek is probably too specialized for /g/. Try other specific reverse-engineering hobby forum for better success.

OP can you disassemble the console an take a picture of the CPU (or the main chips if you've got trouble to see what's what). It's a good starting point

S+core is supported in Linux since 2.6.32, it's probably easier to just figure out the bootloader and run Linux.

You're both cuck for using proprietary software

Found the screws, tho it seems size matters
>>
>>52071877
Pic is too small, the point is that i have no small-enough screwdriver
>>
>>52071957
time to break it open then

microSD card contents with only two games and system stuff

the screws more than likely go through the pcb, it would probably break,if i'd try to break it
>>
also, the .64 files seem to have pretty interesting sizes, like exactly 144k and 640k, so they may be uncompressed images or something

Sunplus make garbage SOCs for chink phones and shitty "mp5" players.

i'm surprised they're still around, i guess there is a market for shit products

I never fucking understood that

>>52072275
chinks always try to be edgy.

Go to a walmart and get a eyeglass repair kit or get some torx set screwdrivers to get those screws out.
>>
>>52072543

it MP5!

That mean it One better than MP4

there's literally no alternative to IDA.
>>
>>52071335
You do realize that the IDA dude doesn't sell IDA to anyone except corporations, right?
>>
Quickly ran through the Windows folder with file(1), GNU objdump and TiledGGD. Here's what I got: http://pastebin.com/vbYAFVjv

It seeems sloppily programmed and easily hackable, if you know what you're doing. (I don't, so don't ask me.)

you can buy an IDA license as an individual
it's expensive as fuck, but you can do it

unless you meant only corporations actually buy IDA, and that's entirely to be expected, shit's expensive
>>
>>52075505
>>52077206
How much is that shit?

And is it possible that IDA was cracked with IDA? It's miles better than ollydbg btw
