I hate the terms normies so much. But in the case of the internet, the normies have truly ruined the place. Even in 2008 there weren't that many normies shitting up the place with their shit opinions and ads from Google.

If adblocking can kill off a lot of the normies who make the internet truly terrible, then I am willing to sacrifice Jacksfilms, the only ad supported content I truly enjoy watching. YouTube in general has become shitfest of advertisements in literally every genre.

It's not even nostalgia, I really miss the relatively peaceful internet from 10 years back. Fights and arguments were contained within a forum or a YouTube comments section. Now if some left winger gets mad at a right winger, it's literally all over the place and vice versa.
