I have £500 and I want to build a PC to play games. Nothing too fancy, I just want to be able to play games like minecraft or runescape on maximum settings. I want to be able to upgrade it too should I ever want to go full pc gaming but we'll see.
TL;DR - Help me make a list of parts I need for a good PC. I obviously need to get a monitor too so give me recommendations please.
Thanks /g/urus

I'd settle for runescape if I were you

even minecraft at a decent rate is fine with me. I just don't want something that's shit.
Hell even playing Dota or LoL would be fine.

I know of that site, but I don't have a clue what to choose and why. Like I said, I don't know anything about building PCs

Minecraft and MMO's are CPU intensive, not GPU intensive. So spend most of your money on the processor and get an entry-level video card.

What do you want to play?

Check out overclockers.co.uk (bit pricey, near Birmingham i think) or novatech.co.uk (near Portsmouth) for parts. Dont skimp on the cpu. Look at OCing the cpu too.

I built my PC for 330$ and it can run battlefield 4 on ultra at 64 fps. Just buy your parts used on amazon. I got a 950 ti for 90 bucks, and an a10 7850k for 82$. Don't be a spare OP
