My cousin told me that he'll send away his old 'gaming' rig to me and I'm just wondering if this is a shitty gift or not. Also, I'd like to know of there are games that can run on high to ultra settings.

Its still good enough for all games at least medium to graphics,
just upgrade the graphic cards to a r9 390 or something

Ram might be a bit low. put another 4gb in it if you want better performance
460 is old af, whack a nvidia 9 series or AMD 300 series if you want to play more intense games.
