Yes, it looks trash in almost all cases. Only time I've ever seen it look good was in small uses.
Rainwater can look nice, but most of the time it looks bad.
I don't bother with it because it takes forever to set it up so I'm truly happy with it, and it's not like I'm at the desktop all the time anyways.

it's good for little things like putting your waifu on your desktop or making bblean looks less bland. Anything more than that looks really shitty and tacky.
