I need a domain name, web hosting, and email package for a financial company. Is GoDaddy botnet?

Godaddy is a SHIT service. It's a classic example of companies doing everything exactly wrong. Get literally any other host, any is better than that crap.

Godaddy is shit, I have seen people shilling and recommending https://iwantmyname.com , never used it myself.

Yeah I'm the guy shilling them. Iwantmyname doesn't do web hosting though, they're purely for a domain name and dns management.

Just find a cheap domain and hosting service and use Google Business for email. Most likely everybody older than 6 is familiar with Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
>inb4 Google botnet
>inb4 a bunch of financial employees care about botnet or freedoms

GoDaddy is the single worst choice you could possibly make. Upselling turds, supported SOPA, the CEO was an absolute asshole (the new CEO is ... an absolute asshole).
Tried Gandi?
Namecheap + Leaseweb
Leaseweb has domain workings, though. So I think you can use Leaseweb and that's it. 200% customer service.

My advice
By domain name thru hover.com - cost prolly abt $13-$15 a year
Email autistic route: set up ur own email server, but then u gotta deal with maintaining it and spam filtering it and keeping it's ip off of blacklists. Cost = cost of hosting the server + $not.worthit
Email: cheap route = buy a small size mailbox thru your hover acct and use it directly or rig it up w/ a free gmail acct if u want a gmail interface. Basically u can hook it up so that u can log into the gmail and send and receive emails as your [email protected] email. Cost abt $20 a year for the small mailbox
Email more expensive route: get a legit google apps account. This means google is your email server for your company email address(s). Cost is $5 per person per month.
Webhosting - depends on your needs, if its a low traffic site just set up your own lamp stack server on digital ocean for like $5-10 a month.
If u are a cool hot tech startup with mad hitz and crazy extreme traffic then maybe look into hosting a server on AWS.

Gandi is pretty good, I use it for domain registration and email, but they also have a hosting service
