Anyone seen this?
I think it's a pretty cool design because of how people like colour coding all the parts inside their machine. I'd personally just switch it off because I like jet black motherboards.
Autism.

why hide the circuit board but still make it look like circuits
>>52014048
This tbqfdhwy faŠ¼
>>52014011
is that like, the mane six version of motherboards?
>>52014048
this.
i mean, what's wrong with modern motherboards' design? tinted all black with plastic covers, which goes against a correct heat dissipation...
this makes me cringe all the time.
let's have some art thread.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
But are those fan controllers at the top?
If so that's pretty nice IMO.
I've wasted 3 slots just for fan controllers. (although there probably are better solutions, these are the ones that came with my 3 fans).
Whoever invented motherboard "armor" needs to die.

no these are wifi antenna connectors.
on a desktop PC motherboard. i shit you not!
>>52014920
>Wayne's World logo
>>52014959
That is fucking retarded.
If you absolutely must use Wifi (maybe you live in an atomic bomb shelter and can't drill through the 3 meters concrete walls) just use a USB dongle.
>>52014920
Is that an Alpha? Also what the shit kind of mezzanine connector are these?
>>52014884
>>52014037
kek
>>52014990
I guess that would have been before they bought DEC.
where does the m.2 drive go?
>>52014037
>>52014959
i don't get it
if you're a /v "gamer" you wouldn't be using shitty high latency, high ping wifi for competitive gaming. no "gaming" board should come with wifi unless your target audience is the pseudo gamer.
>>52015202
good question. i don't see a slot for it either
>>52015202
In the m.2 slot
>>52014011
Looks like the best cyberpunk mobo available.
>>52016108
>cyberpunk mobo
>Led's
Anon please.
>>52016136
LEDs are optional, read the asus page fgt
I wouldn't spend my money on it.. But if I saw someone with one, I'd say, "huh, thats a neat looking board".
/thread desu senpai
>>52015202
>>52016056
Possibly on the other side of the board like some Mini ITX boards
>>52016786
nah, you probably have to lift the "shield" to put them between the pcie ports...
>>52015202
if you're using a 950 pro you want to use a PCIE adapter anyway due to the surface-of-sun heat levels
>>52014011
Meh. Nearly every motherboard has the same featureset these days, they're starting to run out of things to make themselves stand out from the crowd.
>>52017385
Under the Shield where there is no airflow?
I dont think that's a good idea they get a bit hot
>>52016041
>unless your target audience is the pseudo gamer.
Bingo
>>52017493
works for laptops
>>52017427
I'm glad that my X99-Deluxe puts it right in the airflow standing upright on the board.

The mITX RoG board puts it where the WiFi card is where the back ports are
>>52014011
>PS/2 Port
>In 2015
Haha good one, I actually checked my mobo to make sure I didn't actually have one.
>>52018034
NKRO is easier to get on PS/2
>>52015202
Probably doesn't have an M.2 slot because it needs all its PCIe lanes for the gaymen graphics slots.
>>52018034
just wait until your USB drivers break and your USB input devices stop working
>>52018624
Uh huh yeah. That's something I have to deal with on a regular basis.
>>52018651
once is enough. even with the ps/2 ports, getting things to work again was a challenge. without them, i don't know how i would have done it.
>>52018034
interrupt for keyboards is objectively better than polling
>>52014011
The average "pc enthusiast" mental age goes down every year it seems.
It's tasteless. It's ricer garbage, just like RGB keyboards or overdesigned ricer cases.
But the people who buy this stuff uses it for bragging purposes, there's not much else to do with it.
>>52019514
Just stick it in a windowless FD R5 and call it a day. It is that hard?
>>52014011
As far as RGB rice goes it actually looks pretty nice in all honesty. I'd never buy one though because those shrouds just make the motherboard hotter, so fuck that.
>tfw rocking the Asus P6T
As good as it ever got
What a bunch of faggotry.
I hate the fact that you need to buy a 'gayming quality xXXsnipersephiroth69XXx' mobo to get good specs
Well, we've already added military grade armour and a black PCB, how else can we get more money out of consumers?
>lets make rgb lighting!
And now a $150 board that was $300, is up to $400 because of $0.10 worth of lighting
>>52014011
If they good make it look less gayming and keep the leds it'll look alright, right now it looks straight up autistic.
>>52014884
this is a work-safe board
