Too many societies still rely on physical signatures on official documents.
The infrastructure is there in my country (Norway) where we have a legal way of signing something online, but the people aren't ready. They don't trust technology.
Technology is ready. The world is not though. Digital signatures aren't a form of identification yet so you still have to print, sign and scan :/
