Sup /g/
I'm trying to downsize my system partition but some files are trolling me. I've tried defragmenting with Auslogics Disk Defrag, Defraggler and UltraDefrag, but to no avail.
WTF can I do?
>>51986948
XDDDD
What program have you tried to use to resize the partition?
>>51986948
/g/ is for the discussion of technology and related topics.
/g/ is NOT your personal tech support team or personal consumer review site.
For tech support/issues with computers, use /wsr/ - Worksafe Requests
fuck off to >>>/wsr/ retard
>>51986987
just the Windows admin tool thing
I love Linux and all, but I don't really trust gparted et al with my NTFS partitions

EPIN MEME FUCKTARDS XDDD
>>51987104
Try a third party program. Partition Master free might do it.

click on the file to see what it is, copy it, delete it, then replae it. use windows defragmenter. use defraggler's "defrag freespace", "defrag freespace allow fragmentation" boot time defragment etc a few times until you get some results.
>>51987133
Will look into it, thanks.

Good idea
>use windows defragmenter. use defraggler's "defrag freespace", "defrag freespace allow fragmentation" boot time defragment etc a few times until you get some results.
I've been doing that a few times (reboots included), except Windows Defrag. I've been surprised before so I'll try.

topkek
>spoonfeeding retards when /wsr/ exists
why
>>51987239
/g/ is tech related
/wsr/ isn't
I don't see why you retards think this new meme is so funny
>>51987282
are you retarded? read the fucking stickies
>>51987282
Read the damn rules you imbecile.
>>51987239
>>51987289
>>51987314
I understand.
But /wsr/ is a dead board.
Look for yourself: >>>/wsr/7148
>>51987314
You may usetags to highlight syntax and preserve whitespace. To use them, just wrap your code snippetslike this.
cmon guise
/wsr/ is dead
>>51986948
use gparted you fucking fag
>>51987872
yeah but NTFS support is still experimental on *nix so yeah, but no...
>>51987935
Don't be retarded. Get a gparted live usb and resize your fucking partition.
>>51988890
>use experimental software to fix your problem
I appreciate the effort, but I'm not willing to risk my data to more experimental software
