3 120s moves more air than 2 140s, and two of those are on the radiator. I still need 2 more to fully replace my other fans.

Was about to say. 20bucks for a fucking fan is retarded. Never would pay more than $10cfor one. However 5 seem overkill. 2 or maybe 3 fans are the maximum one needs
>>
>>51978625
This case isn't the best flowing so you need several good fans.

The price is fine, you get what you pay for.

Theres 3 in front and one 140 in the back and two 120s on top/radiator.

With two hot ass power hungry cards I want some fans.

Got a 250gig 850 EVO recently for my T420. I can't believe how incredibly quiet my laptop has become. And its pretty fast too.

SSD's are love. SSD's are life.

CF 390Xs run pretty hot, I thought he could use 140mm in the H440, but he does need good air movement for a build like that.

What's wrong with the Samsungs?
>>
>>51979826
>What's wrong with the Samsungs?
Nothing, as far as I know. They've got some of the best endurance of all the SSD's. OP is probably referring to SSD's as a whole.
>>
>>51979826
Samsung and Intel have the best SSD's according to questionable tests.
>>
>>51977871

This. I put an SSD in my Thinkpad and the Thinkpad splash is displayed at least 3 times longer than the OS takes to boot.
>>
>>51979826
Not much with the 850 EVOs. Most of the issues people have with Samsung stem from the 840 EVO.
My only criticism of the 850 EVOs is that their extended write speed plummets from 500 MB/s to about 350 MB/s after a few minutes. But that can't be helped because they use TLC NANDs and it's much better than other TLC NAND SSDs out there (I'm looking at you, Trion 100 and BX200).
>>
>>51980347
>Most of the issues people have with Samsung stem from the 840 EVO.
What issues are those?

Also, what's the difference between EVO's and PRO's? I saw a review where they had the same speeds.
>>
>>51980458
Google 840 EVO and old file performance

850 EVOs use TLC 3D V-NAND, has about 120GiB usable per 128GiB NAND, 75TB write endurance (150TB for the 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB models), and a Samsung MGX controller (The 1 and 2TB EVOs use the MEX controller).
850 PROs use MLC 3D V-NAND, has all 86GiB usable per 86GiB NAND, 150TB write endurance, and a Samsung MEX controller.
>>
>>51980616
Didn't that guy with the online review write petabytes of data before his Samsung SSD failed?

Also, how long does it take an average user to write 75tb's?
>>
>>51980703
The manufacturer's specification is the guaranteed worst case scenario endurance, which means its guaranteed to work until it hits 75TB. Beyond that, Samsung will no longer honor the warranty on the drives.
To write 75TB for the average user/gamer would take in excess of 5 years, which is probably why the warranty on those drive cuts out after 5 years.
