It's bad because it isn't better than adobe photoshop. Gimp by itself is good, but in comparison to adobe photoshop its bad but not because it's a poor experience to use or that it lacks features but because people would love for it to become better than adobe photoshop. But this will never be.

I don't get why people think Gimp is so bad. It has a decent set of core features, it's stable and does the job. Most importantly, it's free as in beer and as in freedom. So I can use it to do simple manipulation of my own photos without having to worry about paying Adobe a $20/month subscription fee (or downloading a pirated copy from some shady torrent that may or may not be infected with viruses and malware).

Seriously, Gimp has a legitimate place in the vast world of software.

The version of the Arduino IDE that's included with Kali Linux.

It's around 1,000 years old and they never update it, doesn't have the library manager and doesn't even support a lot of libraries necessary for newer hardware to function. You're better off uninstalling the piece of shit and grabbing the up-to-date version from the Arduino website.

Don't have any flash drives lying around either.

And disks are better for installing linux with anyway, the stig-field of the flash drive when it loads the kernelbytes to the MOBO isn't counteracted by anything leading to lag in the longterm, the rotational velocendensity of the disk can counteract this.
