Get a good launcher like Nova, remove stock shit, get a good icon pack, find a nice clock widget, get hooked up with a niche backgrond and make sure it goes well and has a set theme to it. Also if you're on an iToy then gtfo. All of this can be done through playstore/chrome. Also borrow ideas from this thread to get started.

Definitely. Nova doesn't take more than 5 minutes to look decent. Zooper takes a bit to understand at first if you've never used anything like it, but it's pretty damn simple once you get the hang of it. Having the extra prime/pro features off the bat is the way to go.
Just know its gonna make you download the free version anyways

I set the background color to a light gray color in zooper widget. Hex code #403d3838. All of this was done in zooper by using rectangles with white outlines and setting up all the shortcut images.
