Chrome works so fast its insane, how do they do it?
I love Google Chrome, whats the secret behind its speed?
Google Chrome is my web browser of choice due to its security, speed and simplicity.
The Sync function is extremely convenient, it allows me to simultaneously share my tabs and passwords with all devices currently logged in.
I smell samefagotry

It sacrifices your RAM to Satan for speed.
Go back to work jewgle devs.

Unused RAM is wasted RAM.
>>51962356
No, it's disk cache.
>>51962268
by pumping in 100 million dollars to its dev budget and hiring 10,000 pajeets to optimize it.

Unused Disk Cache is wasted Disk Cache.

But disk cache is always used.
I tried to use Chrome after about 10 years of Firefox.
1. I'm used to have menu bar with bookmarks, tools and all that stuff. Chrome doesn't have it.
2. I'm used to my addons and I couldn't find the same addons or even replacements on Google Store.
Well that's about it. Going to use my Firefox 36 for the next 10 years I guess.

With the help of their botnet, they profile you so well that they know what you're going to do before you do it.
That's why it's so responsive. It knows you better than you know yourself.

Why would you stick with Firefox 36 in particular?
Some change in 37 you don't like? Bet there's an about:config value for that.
At the very least you should switch to ESR so you can still receive security fixes but none of the features.

C++ brah.
And top class C++ devs employed by Google.
The mobile Chrome Dev version is lightning fast. Ever page gets launched instantaneously, the UI responds in a matter of miliseconds, shit's fast.

Well for some reason the latest Firefox versions are not working correctly on my PC anymore. Both Nightly and the standard edition. The problem is that tabs are starting to fail with redraw/repaint and I have to restart Firefox to fix it. I tried different drivers, I installed fresh windows (yes it's 10) on a clean ssd but the problem still remains.
Then I tried Firefox 36 and I've never seen that problem again. Not even once in 2 weeks.
I don't know what did they change in their newer versions but something is malfunctioning - nvidia drivers, windows 10, firefox itself or everything together at the same time.
Firefox 36 runs fine.

Pajeet,pls go away
Chrome being fast is a meme.It is only fast on PCs with large amount of RAM.My firefox with NoScript Plugins used to be lightspeeds faster than Chrome.
However I still uses it because as Pajeet says its sync feature is irreplaceable.I am not going to use Firefox Sync because I don't want to remeber dozens of passwords.
how do I get rid of this?
>>51962268
You think Chrome is fast? Have you ever tried Chromium?
>>51963351
I don't have this problem.
>>51963389
nice photoshop
>>51963351
Probably settings > sign in to chrome
Except you need to sign out
>>51963400
I'm afraid it isn't.
It's an old version of Chromium.
The best you can do is rename the profile to a blank character by pressing ALT+0160.
