>4 levels of development channels
>3 constant botnets monitoring most users (health report, crash reporter, "telemetry)
>still has to release urgent patch two days after every new release, because the idiots in charge of all the above data can't figure out how to protect their users properly
>>51931014
Post the alternative browser you've created then.
>>51931026
I don't need to create one because perfection is already available: http://vivaldi.com/
How do I reach the deepest development channel?
>>51931045
4 levels: nightly -> developer -> beta -> stable
>>51931136
That's just the mainstream ones.
How do I get in on the super experimental shit, the shit they don't tell you about
>>51931172
Work at Mozilla
>>51931172
pull the latest commits from trunk and build yourself
Firefox is getting worse because the botnets only monitor users who don't turn them off, so they think its users are dumb.
>>51931250
That's actually spot on, but this thread is about another problem. Even though they've removed alot of features lately, they still can't release a stable version without serious issues that need to be patched in two days.
>>51931292
its a complex bit of software. the x.0.1 updates are fixes for a tiny % of users that found a bug that wasn't and most likely couldn't be caught in testing. welcome to the real world of software development.
>>51931014
memefox
>>51931014
How about no, you ass munching faggot. Posting a alternative neither validates or invalidates the fact that Firefox is going to shit because its being managed by incompetent whores.

I think that you meant to reply to >>51931026, filthy mongoloid
>>51931039

>>51931678
I did. I don't know what happened. I'm a idiot?
>>51931696
of course you are
>Update to 43.0.1
>Get Pocket spam

God fucking dammit mozilla
>>51931039
>the new chrom copy
>>51931937
Except it's not a clone at all.
Vivaldi right now is what firefox once was: full of features, customizable, usable, fast. It's definitely not the oversimplified junk chrome is.
>>51931014
>nowadays
firefox died at version 3
>>51931014
HUEHUEHUE all browsers are just aping chrome these days in varying ways
>>51931978
full of botnet
>>51932044
>I didn't write it myself so it must be malicious as fuck
getting really tired of you and that shit meme of yours
>>51932465
I hear you. Then again, your fault for expecting to have a rational conversation on this site.
>>51931014
> download google chrome guys it is totally worth :^)
>>51931014
>we're so much stable now!
>so much better!
when you open task manager is Firefox still a single process?
>>51932632
Yes
You didn't think firefox would actually become good or fast again in your lifetime, did you?
Werks for me. It's certainly better than Palememe and Chromenet.
Just use chromium, it's open source
>>51931978
>full of features
Like not being able to synch bookmarks?
>customizable
Ok
>usable
It's still in beta. Also most browsers are "usable"
>fast
Because it doesn't need any ram right?
>It's definitely not the oversimplified junk chrome is.
It shares the same engine so it is pretty similar to chrome + plus some extra features for power users
Face it, it's another copy of chrome just like Firefox and Opera
>>51933690
fuck off
>>51931978
>Vivaldi right now is what firefox once was
>proprietary
the vivaldi meme needs to die
>>51932632
>he fell for the multi process meme
>>51932632
>>51934239
The only benefit is that browser developers can care less about reliability.
A crash or freeze that brings down the whole browser is more serious, so it will get fixed faster. If only one tab is affected, fewer people will care. Mozilla would say that the bug isn't worth fixing because it can be recovered from more easily. They already started with that excuse years ago when Firefox first remembered the open tabs from the previous session.
Is there a way to get rid of this redundant shit yet?

>>51934514
use your own script with classic theme restorer
>>51931978
>Firefox
>fast
Ouch.
>>51934514
Yeah, set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false.
That shit keeps suggesting sites I last visited two months ago instead of the more recent ones that follow on the list. What the fuck.
>>51934566
Go sit with your asshole on a cock, ignorant aspie kid. You jut need to set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false
>>51934566
wat is this?
>>51931687
Don't know what the license is, but the source code is there

>>51936095
>https://vivaldi.com/source/
Now let's wait for the autists to try to make up a new excuse against it just because they are against change and need to keep using the inferior SJW Firecucks.
>>51936095
>>51936416
Only some parts of Vivaldi are open source. It's still proprietary.
>>51931250
How do you turn them off then?
>>51937113
You use Vivaldi instead.
>>51931014
if you dont like it dont use it.
