It's something like this

ThinkPad T420 and a shitty I don't know how big Chinese television
>>
Same for me

1B at 30-35 degrees.
>>
Mine is one laptop monitor to the left of me. Then a TV monitor right in front of me
>>
>>51930818
Well, 145-150 degrees.
>>
>>51930801
This for me as well
>>
>>51930746
1A or 2A, but it's kinda tough keeping to one as one is a 144Hz TN and the other is a binned IPS :/
>>
>>51930746
2A but aligned on top
>>
>>51930746
What's the significance of the `1` and the `2` labelled on the monitors?
>>
>>51930746
1A at ~150° or so.
First monitor is a 27" second one a 23".
>>
>>51930746
1B, main 144hz monitor right in front of me, 2nd monitor at about 40 degrees to it on the left. Getting a third for xmas, will mirror the 2nd monitor on the right.
>>
>>51930746
1A at around 155 degrees
>>
I just setup a dual monitor setup and it's 1A. I got a dell ultra sharp on the left and a 144hz ASUS in the middle. Honestly it's been hard to get used to two monitors. I feel like I'm just going add and I can't focus on one or the other.

who does that? fuck you dude you ruined my infographic

1 is main display with taskbar

>>51930746

Same, Samsung X430 and 43" LG

Though I rarely use both at the same time.

This.
Sometimes I will move monitor 1 in landscape to game on it. Crazy how much better 4k looks than monitor 3 which is a 144Hz one.
>>
>>51931316
I have the taskbar on my secondary display, so I can easily access it when running fullscreen programs on my primary.

>having 2 screens
Idiots
It is much more consistent and nice to get 1 big screen than 2 mediums. I'm using a 42 inch LG TV which still dwarfs your TWO puny 22-25 inch screend

Lemme guess, it's still FHD?
>>
>>51930746

4A as main setup here
1st monitor is 15" laptop
2nd monitor is a 32" 1080p smart TV

I also have 1A setup on another desk with another 15" laptop and a 15" LCD monitor setup. this is a C2D system which I use mostly for listening and archiving FLACs.

this >>51931887 guy here,
I usually watch movies on 32" TV and sometimes I put pic reference there when I paint digitally.

A big second monitor is overkill for movies and I believe 15" main screen is enough for my computing needs.

so depending on what you're up to but it's pretty legit to use a FHD TV with your computer as long as it's the second monitor.
>>
>>51931950
Resolution is what matters when you speak about the 'size' of a display, though.
Physical size simply depends on what distance the display is from your face. The further it is, the larger it needs to be.

A 42" FHD TV can be viewed well from trice the distance of my 27" WQHD displays, but it's still smaller, because mine can display twice as much content.
>>
Was using three as pictured, new plan is to throw the side monitors together with my old 24" for a better size match. Then decide if I want the 27 above or perhaps adding a seperate gaming space for eyefinity, a SIM rig would be cool but I don't want to lock myself into driving sims only.

I agree the viewing distance and resolution is important but TV's are much cheaper and OK solutions.

'OK' for desktop usage. But they almost always oversaturate colours, have bad response times and ridiculous amounts of input lag, because it doesn't matter when you watch movies.
There's a reason PC monitors cost more.

My Eizo Foris FS2735 just shipped. with that I have 3 27" WQHD displays tomorrow. I wonder what arrangement would make sense for 3 displays.

1b at probably 170-175 degrees?

Two glorious 27" IPS 1080p LEDs.
