You friendly neighborhood Verizon shill back once more to dodge technical questions and give vague but truthful replies to questions about the company and service.

Ellipsis 10 tablets for $99.99 btw senpais. They are the Dynex Best Buy TV's of the tablet world but they are big as fuck with huge batteries and a good deal goyims.
>>
>tfw charter
>tfw $40 flat for 60mbps with free cable modem
why is verizon so shit?
when i left, you fucks were charging like $50/mo for 15mbps and router+modem rental on top of that.

>wireless carrier's home wifi solutions

Come on now. We sell jet packs and home wifi modems but they are attached to the data plans and expensive as hell if they are the primary source of usage. We offer them to supplement the people in the sticks who cannot get a land line but need some kind of access. To binge netflix and loli porn on wireless is just crazy.
>>
>>51923739
oh, you're wireless

nevermind
>>
when will verizon roll out fios to all of orange county, CA

i fucking hate this AT&T bullshit now
>>
How do you feel about boost mobile offering unlimited high speed lte for $60/month + $10/2GB of monthly hotspot usage?
>>
>>51923643
How does it feel shilling a locked down, outdated and soon to be obsolete service(CDMA)?
>>
>>51923791
Not OP but cdma isn't going anywhere.
>>
>>51923771
Most of the gross revenue is going directly back into building more towers. Up in the North they have almost tripled the towers in the past decade. Specifically in CA, dunno. Move to not CA?

>>51923790
>t-mobile
>unlimited
kek yes i am sure that "unlimited" is really useful when they throttle your sad ass back to 1x after 2 gigs. Unlimited isn't really unlimited when it cannot load the original Space Jam website in under a minute. Yes it still exists, google it.

>>51923791
Neato because CDMA isn't obsolete by any real metric and we are going to push that shit like America pushes non-metric.

Is it now?
>>
>>51923813
Then why are Sprint and VZW switching to all LTE services?

>>51923832
>Boost Mobile
>T-Mobile
One of these providers is not like the other

Also, CDMA has been considered obsolete since HSPA and HSPA+ have been released, you're shitty corporate officers know this and are in the stages to make the switch to all LTE, which is a GSM technology, nice try cuckboi but maybe you should research what you sell before shitting out your mouth
>>
>>51923965
You're lucky we don't throttle.

This is EXACTLY why unlimited plans are no longer a thing you know. Also is case you didn't notice there was a $20 price hike in November but now you're allowed to use device payment to upgrade instead of buying outright.
>>
>>51923990
CDMA still has uses for IOT devices.

Verizon literally just started offering a service that monitors your car using a device running on their EVDO network.
>>
You guys are the largest carrier - why not drop prices and revive Ma Bell? Who's going to say something, no one that's who.

>>

Yeah, I saw that, its as unnecessary as trusting AT&T with watching your house, fuck that nonsense
>>

I fucking hate Hum. I know nothing about vehicles and the old men are whipping us until we lack back flesh to push them. 98% of people don't even know what or where a diagnostic port is on their vehicle. It is a crazy stupid product to be pushing. There is simply no market for it. Anyone savvy enough to know where it goes and how it works already does his own vehicle repairs. Everyone else is uncomfortable with the idea and doesn't want to increase their monthly bill for something they don't even understand.

>>51924018
Old men, money, old men with money.
>>
>>51923990
>Then why are Sprint and VZW switching to all LTE services?
But they are still keeping cdma. cdma is very nice for battery life on phones, lte fucking murders phone batteries.

I could be wrong though but I feel cdma will still be around for another 10 years at least.
>>
>>51924006
The price hike hasn't hit me yet. That line is under contract for a good while longer.

Verizon unlimited plans don't exist any more because Verizon can't make much money off of them.

I'll gladly pay the extra 20 bucks a month though, but my usage will go up.
>>
>>51924058

>>

all other carriers will have better speed and/or coverage than sprint for roughly the same price.
>>
>>51924158
Nah, sprint is upgrading lte towers to spark lte (30-50mbps), Stick with sprint for now else you might seriously regret it.
>>

Fuck that noise.
>>

>>

>Go over a hard limit on any nationwide carrier
>get charged overage fee

Shut the fuck up anon. Maybe you shouldn't have gone over your limit.
>>
>>51924199
Really? Well I recently got spark lte in my area, shit's fucking ridiculous. Jumped from 2-3mbps to ~30mbps on lte.
>>

The 2 Lumia's. I got one as a work phone and I fucking HATE this FUCKING piece of shit. It crashes taking a call. It crashes checking the contacts. It just fucking crashes. It is a shit phone and I have told 3 separate people asking to buy it "No". I would not sell them a Windows phone. I simply will not do it. If they want to self destruct and hate their every waking moment using their phone they can buy it online. I disarm it with humor and no one has challenged me but if told they absolutely wanted it I would get a manager to process the transaction. I will not have that return on my codes.

>>51924104
No one knows. Most likely never ever.

>>51924150
*sliding*

>>51924158
6 gigs is $60 plus $20 for line access. If you have reliable service and connection then I'd say no. We would give you $300 for signing up if you give us your old phone.

>>51924195
It is $15 actually. The plans go up tremendously per $20 though. 30/1-45/3-60/6-80/12-100/18

If you are ever even close to going over just upgrade and get a fuck load more data.
>>
>>51924219
Congrats you live in a metro area with 250,000 people, meanwhile AT&T has had 30+ Mbps speed in my city for about 3 years now and Spark still hasn't showed up
>>
>>51924210
Sprint is literally the only carrier left with "Unlimited Data". Shit speeds aside, it still doesn't charge me more per month no matter how much data I use.
>>
>>51924223
WHAT DOES SLIDING MEAN, UR JUST A SALES MONKEY AND DONT KNOW THE ANSWER
>>
>>51924239
Boost uses them too. So now poorfags can get unlimited high speed lte on the cheap now.
>>
>>51924243
I am a sales monkey. I do not know the answer. Your question is incredibly direct and specific and fun fact. They do not actually train us in ANY tech support classes or techniques. In fact they have said in the future we are losing the whole "come into the store for a complete solution" bit. We are no longer focusing on fixing shit for old people. Millennials are the driving market and they shop online and are very demanding. They are the fututre so we have stopped transferring photos and trouble shooting in general. If you come into the store and are not buying anything. After 10 minutes we transfer to tech support.
>>
>>51924239
Do you know why they offer Unlimited Data? Because their LTE service is non existent and they're 3G is a joke and makes up the majority of their coverage, and if you get their LTE service, it sucks compared to anyone else's

>>51924262
>trusting an MVNO of Sprint to offer truly Unlimited Data
>not knowing they throttle you in streaming services
>>
>>51924236
>live in a county with a mere 40,000 in it

>>51924239
T-Mobile also provides unlimited data, on their top plans. I'm not talking throttled either. My neighbor has a T-Mobile phone on an unlimited plan and he regularly goes over 80GB a month.
>>
>>51924141
>FiOS is over now.
sucks for there, where I am however FiOS is currently replacing the G-PON with 10G-PON infrastructure.
>>
>>51924308

>>
>>51924310

>>
>>51924310

>Paying over $100 for streaming youtube on my phone

Fuck that noise. I'm having a hard enough time stomaching $65 w/ taxes and fees. I've considered dropping to the 1 GB plan, but I use iHeartRadio and other streaming apps away from home just a bit too much. 3G is one thing. 2G throttlinng is a whole-nother ballpark.
>>
>>51924348
They had a spat about Sprint themselves throttling streaming, I guess it was during peak time, which is a bullshit excuse
>>
>>51924359
>Not just using the Walmart $35 plan with 5 gigs of high speed data on T-Mobile if you're that poor.

Did you even try to find a competitive wireless service at all?
>>
>>51924310
>To ensure that we’re providing a great experience for our customers, customers who use more than 23 GB of data in a bill cycle will have their data usage de-prioritized compared to other customers for that bill cycle at times and locations when competing network demands occur, resulting in relatively slower speeds.

Yup, currently getting installed for 2017-ish. Already have 150/150 for $65/month. But wouldnt mind 300/300 or 500/500 for similar price.
>>
>>51924441
It's most likely in the fine print on the back of the card. It's true though, 5 gigs of high speed and then 2G afterwards, which if you ask me, is completely worth it.

Then again, you could just jump on T-Mobiles post paid, have the smallest data plan they offer with a simple choice plan, and get unlimited streaming of certain music and video services.
>>
>>51924465
I think if the speeds were reduced to 3G instead of 2G it would be much more appealing. 2G is just godawful.

I'm in between Internet providers so I've been murdering my 3gb data on my phone. Should I switch to sprint unlimited? The fastest Internet I can get here in the sticks is 1meg, which is what I had before and am used to. So even getting throttled would seem so fast it'd blow my mind.
