If you are going to be gaming, the 6th Gen absolutely rapes all other gens, I'd say i5-6600k OCd to 4+ghz (the highest I've seen is 4.8) or the i7-6700k OCd to 4.5+ (I've seen people get to 5ghz), but if you don't plan on overclocking, just go for the i7-6700k, but beware, my friend bought one and his is back ordered til february. Hope I helped.

Yeah, I've seen those charts as well, but overclocking the i5-6600k almost puts it on par/better than the i7-6700k. That's why I got the i5 one, not the i7 one.
