Just finished this book. Kinda basic, but a good overview of computers from the ground up

Got myself these for the holidays:
The mythical man-month
Code complete 2
Structures and interpretation of computer programs
the pragmatic programmer
design patterns
and refactoring (fowler)
I started with the mythical man month and going to read the pragmatic programmer next

My boss bought this book for me, it's really helpful because my monitor was a bit low, so I put the monitor on top of it.
The job was coding AS3/Adobe AIR for mobile.
I quit.

It was a good read.
It gives insights to more complex projects with real world examples.
It talks about classic fallacies in programming like (from the title) the man hours you can work in a month, progress tracking, estimation, tools and versioning.
I had heard/known about a few of the concepts but it was an interesting read and I would recommend it.
