My department switched from thin clients to these + docking stations at work.
TBQH, it's hit or miss. I've not had any problems with mine, and absolutely love it. The other technician in my lab has gone through three in six months.

We use these at work. Most are ok. I think we've had maybe one that was brand new that died after the OS updated.

It really is a nice machine though, and like I said, I have zero issues with mine.
