Nah, it forces me to refresh the game capture settings everytime I'm gonna record something or else I get this gay black screen if I don't. Which is annoying.

20 to 30 FPS. Still, I just tried windowed mode, etc right now and I'm still getting this black screen. Heh.

Do you have any sort of overlay open? Fraps? Any FPS counter or anything? OBS hates those. Try Dxtory or FFsplit.
