Well, here in Chile a GTX 970 costs $900 so I go to the USA every 5 years to buy components for my PC.

Remove 22% IVA from the price, now dollar is almost 1:1 with euro.
GTX970 is now 375€ on amazon.it
-22% = 292.5€ = 322$ (actually 324$ on amazon.com)
Everything so cheap in USA if I want to buy some part which is 300 dollars us it will be like 450 dollars in EU. If I want to ship it from USA the Jews at the border security want my shekels and I have to pay tons of import costs FeelsBadMan

Why would you remove the vat. You pay it there, you dont here. If you do an income adjustment the difference in median household is higher than the vat anyway.
