I've literally manually deleted every folder and registry entry that could belong to anything related to cortana and telemetry.
Now, my taskbar doesn't work as it should, start menu doesn't work at all, and I get undissmissable error messages every day.
I'm just saving money for a new HDD/SSD, so I can ditch this abomination of a system and install Windows 7 back.

I really couldn't give even half a shit about what ms does with my searches/speech, and I can't believe any information they collect would be any kind of important.
