It's based off technologies that favor Nvidia much more than AMD. If you're buying a GPU for how well it does in games, you care about actual game benchmarks, not for numbers in a synthetic benchmark.

The 950 is a so-so card and kind of worth it against the 370. The 960 however is a terrible card.
Realistically the only two good Nvidia cards arew the 750ti (as AMD cannot get power draw that low, so its good for prebuilts and ancient toasters) and the 980ti.
