I refreshed my paste this morning already. Going to do it again before I go to sleep.
I replace my CPU fans weekly though.
I'd do all this more but I'm lazy. I'm willing to allow a little bit of damage to my system.
I stopped using thermal paste about a year agho when I bought an AMD chip.
It gets so hot and draws so much power I decided to submerge my rig in cooking oil and dual purpose the machine as a deep fryer.

It's fine. CPU fans are not even necessary in most cases. The heatsink itself can cool the CPU quite well if you're not overclocking.
