Okay /g/... I used to use Chrome, but the botnet isn't worth

Okay /g/...
I used to use Chrome, but the botnet isn't worth the features. I tried out a few browsers, and I honestly don't know what to use. I don't want to SJWfox either.
I tried Opera, but it's slow. It honestly is. As well, it just feels... off.
I tried Pale Moon, but I heard that it is behind on security.
I tried SeaMonkey, but it looks like ass.
I tried Vivaldi, but it tries too hard to be pretty and sacrifices functionality. The design is pretentious.
Is Waterfox any good? Is Chromium botnet? It doesn't autoupdate. I just want to know what you use /g/. Fast, non-botnet, minimalistic and functional. Maybe I'm asking too much and am being too picky? Are all browsers doomed to shit?

Bump...

bumpin' for knowledge
>>
>>51854901
I use Chrome Canary

its not like you HAVE to log into the browser

and also you can disable chrome phoning home or reporting your search terms to google

idk chrome is the only one that has good behavior with imagus
>>
I use fox with duckgogo, seems to work fine.
>>
waterfox is just as bad as firefox, without the excessive bs
>>
I just use chrome, botnet is just a myth, it doesn't actually exist unless you log in to the browser(which you don't have to do)
>>
Should I just download an offline email client and use Chrome? It'll still prompt me to sign in when I use shit like YouTube... I just find of hard to trust, and I really wish there was just a better browser...
Firefox is SJW and bloat
Chrome is RAM whore and botnet
Opera is slow for me
Vivaldi is slow and has stupid animations and no bookmakers bar
I'm thinking Chromium--but it's still botnet--Pale Moon--but security issues--Waterfox--but same as Firefox.
Is Chrome without sign in really my best option? I use gmail, so if access it there it will bother me.
>>
I don't even want to be in on the Google botnet t b h f a m. Google search, Google mail, Google browser, YouTube, I feel like I'm wrapped in a web of botnet.
>>
>I used to use Chrome, but the botnet isn't worth the features
Yes, yes it is. You can get rid of almost everything.

Firefox and it's forks are all either slow, outdated or have bad extension support.

Nothing meets all the requirements you listed.
>>
go leenux and use curl :^)
>>
>>51855155
there is some more work you have to do

and honestly if you use chrome you can never completely stop chrome from phoning home about you every once in a while but its ok i guess

anyways you have to disable online spell check

this allows google to see what you are searching or typing in order to "improve their dictionary"

then you are good
>>
Back to Chrome with modifications it is, then...
>>
Use Tor if you want to order "pizza" op
>>
my god, OP is a faggot. the huge gaps in your knowledge invalidate all of your opinions on anything. who gives a fuck how a browser looks? it's a tiny frame around a rendering engine you idiot. most people cant even name their browser. install chrome and use that when you have to be a faggot and watch gay porn with flash. all the rest of the time you should be using firefox with noscript and if you dont, shut the fuck up about botnets because you have no idea what that even means.
>>
>>51854901
The only problem I have with the seamonkey is that only a few Firefox extensions are compatible with it.

I use chrome sometimes to watch Netflix on gnu, but not for actual browsing.
>>
Chrome - shit ui
Firefox - built in ads
IE - deprecated
Edge - shit ui
Safari - Mac only
Opera - never used it

So it comes down to use Chrome or Edge. Edge is already installed and doesn't have any bloat. The performance is the same if not better. Makes sense to use what is already there.

What will the chinese botnet do to you? Chinese botnets stay in china unlike NSA, GCHQ, ASIO etc...

Chinese will sell it to the highest bidder, lol. If they want, they'll sell it to NSA and you will become part of the double-botnet.

Send from my firefox - debian.

Umm I can see you text, I can visit urls. My security is great and it is fast like chrome.

Not sure where you /g/tards are getting this slow bullshit from.
>>
>>51857107
from personal experience you fat neckbeard with a fucking 64 core i9 processor and 256tb ram
>>
>>51857123
Not fat, somewhat thin. I am also somewhat an intelligent person since I work on encryption cracking using programming techniques and no outside tools for the military.

I also am using a 4790k i7 which has 8 cores. I also have 16gig ram as well as using a fully supported motherboard with default debian.

Anything else you wish to attempt to see me as?
Perhaps a dragon who spews out poor people with IQs lower then the amount of letters in 4chan.org, like you my friend.

firefox is slow as fuck for me

>>
http://www.qupzilla.com/
>you're welcome
>>
>>51857200
Well I could only guess, being ubuntu is the issue. Somewhere in the application and API is ether a bug or data flow is being limited.

I have used version 39 to 41.4 on 13 different distros and win7, 8.0 and 8.1 (Fuck windows 10).

My partner has also installed firefox on a completely different set up with 4 gig ram and still did not become slow. What gives is unknown. But firefox is not the underlying issue when it can be consistent over 7 different computers for me. But I am not the devs of the software so...
>>
>>51857200
Not OP but I also use firefox without a GPU. Still ends is a smooth experience. the feels 4 u is strong
>>
I use Waterfox. It works. It's 64 bit, which is cool.
>>
>>51857211
can you tell me more?
im reluctant to give it a try. i heard it works great and supports chrome extensions natively but beyond that ive heard nothing about it other than it being built upon node supposedly.

Is Firefox the best browser except for the "SJW" thing?

And if not, which fork do you recommend? Pale Moon has that crazy "pixelated text" issue which I can't seem to fix, what about Waterfox?

Also, is Chromium any good or is it just a different package of the Chrome botnet?
>>
What's the deal with Opera? I've never tried it, and never heard anything of its reputation

>>
>>51857364
At this point it's a 'has-been' browser. The devs sold off the project and around the same time, Chrome kind of took off and almost all normalfags chose it over Opera.

The original devs of Opera are now working on Vivaldi these days so you might want to give that go.
>>
i use mac and i use safari .(
>>
Has Firefox Beta any different between the regular version? I have used both, but I can't see any visual difference.

It's decently fast for me, and I'm using a laptop with a Pentium 4 processor. I don't know where this slow meme is coming from as well

wot, people this days keep they bookmakrs on a bar?

What about Cyberfox? It looks great to me. It is like the essence of firefox, not?

Vivaldi does have a bookmarks bar.

I fucked around with IE11, Edge and Firefox but I eventually came back to Chrome. IE11/Edge have weird render issues/security problems. Firefox is slow and laggy. Chrome renders 99.9% of pages perfectly and with ublock origin installed it makes the web nice and clean.
>>
>>51854901
Pale Moon isn't behind on security, older yes, but not behind on security. Been using it for 3 days and love it more than FF already.
