What are some useful command line tools/apps that you think needs more exposure? Music player? Maybe some bash configuration that makes life easier? Maybe something else cool?

if you gunna use the command line a lot then get a drop down terminal like guake, and something like tmux would probably also be a good idea

Yeah, guake is great. It's one of the first thing I install in any distro. Either guake or some equivalent.
