(VESA) Monitor mount thread

What are good table mounts for monitor(s)?

Looking at one for 2 screens, but maybe it's better to have them seperate?

What's your setup /g/ents?
>>
Come on, some of you must have table/wall mounts for your monitors
>>
Why are the mounts attached to the screen?
>>
...are you asking for mounts we suggest or why we suggest to use a mount?

For a specific mount, go go google.

For a reason why, cause it gives more versatility and opens up desk space.
>>
I use a triple monitor desk stand because I like having a main monitor. I just got the cheapest one from Canada Computers, it's been a year and there's nothing wrong with it.

I don't like the ones that bolt onto your table.

Why?

Because if I need to move it for some reason I can just pick it up and put it down elsewhere. If it was bolted on, I'd have to first remove it and even then I wouldn't be able to just place it on a surface without risking damage to the panels

So there's more than one method for desk mounting? Not OP by the way, just curious for some reason

Some are just stands that connects to several screens. Some are wall mounts and others are desk mounts.

You can either bolt it down to the table, or get one that has a built in stand.

Mine is this one:

does anyone know of any VESA mounts that work with Dell's stupid recessed mounting bracket?

I have my U2414H's on a dual arm mount, but the mounting bracket doesn't fit inside the mounting recess ... so the screws are barely holding it on and the plate is jammed against the outer housing.

What mount do you currently have? I read that it uses a 100mmx100mm mount. So look for that size and nothing bigger?
