Love the priv

Can you post that image one more time? The first 50 times wasn't enough and I'm almost finished.
Thanks.

It's a BlackBerry thread. Stay jelly

So a question,
Do you think BB will push timely android updates to their phones or be like the rest of manufacturers ?
In all seriousness, if they released more android phones and have a good record for pushing updates out I will give them a chance.
>>51842547
Marshmallow coming in Q1 , BlackBerry just pushed out new security update this month too
>>51842547
>posting fake sluts
no wonder you are an androidfag, but anyway blackberry's current strategy is to introduce one or two phones per year and concentrate on their updates. they already released the first regular priv update. they can't be like samsung, pushing out 5 different models per minute so if you are looking for the next android blackberry you will have to wait for quite long.
>>51842118
Wallpaper and any others similar please. I think I've seen you post a bst with similar wallpapers... no sure. Thanks.
Nice Priv, I have a classic.
>>51840679
I'm thinking to get the silver edition
find me a flaw ?
>>51842547
Other manufacturers do push timely updates to the phones. Regional carriers are the reason for the hold up.
That's why Russia had Lollipop on Notes and S5s six months before the US market.
>>51842994
you won't find native bb version of every fad of the month app, it supports android apps but you may still have issues and square screen is not good for shallow chinese cartoons.
if you just want to manage your communications effectively and browse comfortably, it's one of the best in those areas.
>>51843154
Well, I don't download new apps or even play on my current phone, I usually browse the internet and and some applications.
I got questions
1- does the android apps auto update, or I have to manually download apks once its updated?
2- hows the battery life for medium-heavy use ? like browsing internet for 4 continuous hours ?
>>51843259
1. You get a notification when an update is available, at least in the Amazon Appstore and Snap (i.e. Play Store for BB).
2. Battery life is fine. My Passport lasts for 2 days when I'm not using it much and usually lasts for the day with medium-heavy use. 4 hours of browsing will definitely be ok, but of course you will lose a large chunk of your battery %.

>nfc card
goddammit, I've been waiting so long for one and my bank still hasn't delivered
hell, I can't even use android pay because my bank hasn't signed up for it
>>51843344
>>51843259
Oh and regarding the Android apps:
You'll find many websites showing you how to sideload the apps (i.e. downloading the APK and installing it). This is not necessary anymore, as you'll have the Amazon Appstore preinstalled and can also use other stores (Snap = Play Store, Opera Store, ...)
>>51843259
Get an application store application (amazon, fdroid, Google), or apply updates manually. In any case, as long as there is an auto-download mechanism, you'll be walked through the always-manual confirmation pages.

thanks guys.

I am rollin' with the bold 9790 and will hold onto that until my carrier decides to shut down BIS service, I may get a 9900 later if i feel like buying one. it has a comfy mail client, whatsapp and BB maps which is pretty average but still i can find my way with it.
i don't think hardware being old is an issue as long as OS and main apps run smooth.
>>51844682
As long as you get security updates, friend.
>>51842507
>>51842143
Jokes on you senpais, I have the Priv
>>51844816
>adopt an OS designed solely for spying on people
>have to patch it frequently, otherwise even street poopers can infect it with malware
I hope the priv sells enough to keep the phone business alive so we can have new BBOS10 phones.

How can physical keyboards even compete?
>>51846041
>using a keyboard that logs your keystrokes
kek
>>51846090
>how do I computer
>>51846041
by not being retarded, not logging your keystrokes, not requiring autocorrection, being possible to type on with gloves on, and generally being more pleasant
>>51846041
nigga some people enjoy slow&sensual sex.
>>51846117
you are just trying too fucking hard anon. Swiftkey is shit, it's a fucking keylogger. You actually install a keylogger that pretends to be a fancy keyboard that works exactly the same than other software keyboards for android only with fancy statistics about what you do because it's logging everything so you can masturbate to a fucking image of where dd you place you stupid fat fingers.
Please, stop trying this hard.
>>51846201
>dd you place you stupid fat fingers.
See you wouldn't have this problem with SwiftKeyâ„¢
>>51842118
You got the brown case?! It looks so much nicer in the black one.
>>51846238
stop shilling that lame keylogger solely based on the fact that you love meaningless statistics about your meaningless life.
>>51846191
Shits retarded, it's like taking off your clothes to take a piss
>awful phone
>only selling point is keyboard
>phone is really fucking top heavy
>keys feels mushy and loves to collect dead skin
>need to slide out to reply a message
>>51846238
you would, however, get different kinds of problems
What would be the cheapest way to dump my five month old Passport that I have a two year contract on for a Priv?
>>51846321
>awful phone
If you're talking about BB priv - of course it's awful. It runs android, what did you expect
>only selling point is keyboard
yes
>phone is really fucking top heavy
no
>keys feels mushy and loves to collect dead skin
possibly
>need to slide out to reply a message
no, the onscreen keyboard still exists
why the fuck dont these physical keyboards have an easily accessible pipe? like how the fuck am i supposed to quickly and ergonomically hackncrack in time sensitive situations in public settings?
Poorfag reporting.
Replaced my flip case last week, old one fell apart completely.
Also putting on an anti-glare matte screen protector was a direct upgrade for sure.

>>51842100
