I really like classic start.
Maybe get yourself a custom host file and disable/delete some stuff that came with it if that is your thing.
Have a look at ninite . c om, and pick what you like to save some time with a fresh install. Tho ccleaner and some other software isn't in the list. It should cover most grounds.
Remember to get the latest drivers, maybe some office off piratebay, no?

when I got on my computer again after having it shut down over night, I noticed that a lot of changes I did has not been saved
I downloaded alot of program .exe's (but didnt install) and theyre not in the downloads folder
Firefox acting like I never opened it before
However, steam downloads are intact
