Which would you rather have to use every day for the rest of your life, you can't ever make modifications.
>i7-5820K & GeForce 7950 GT
or
>Athlon 64 X2 6000+ & GTX TITAN Z
What os?
>>51817751
OSX
Which one has the dvd drive? 2015 i need one. It's a dealbreaker.
>>51817717
You could have said something more reasonable like a i5 260 and a Titan Z or a 7-5820K and a GTX 480. Neither of these systems are useable.
>>51817717
Why a 7950GT?
Nvidia probably don't even have a driver for Windows 10 for it, you'll lose support.
That said, I'd probably take that system because there are decades worth of games that are worthwhile playing on it and I'd rather not sacrifice CPU.
Why can't you all discuss this on the gaming board? You know, >>>/v/ ?
>>51817717
I had a 7950 GX2(basically two 7950s bolted on top of each other) once, no way I could use a 7950 GT these days.
Athlon+Titan all the way.
>>51818852
looks like an artist sketch of a super yacht
i'll take the i7 and go on intelgrated gfx, it'll surely work better than the other piece of junk
>>51820933
nvm it doesn't have that
i'll still go i7 though
neither of those would work you can't just mix and match amd and nvidia stuff
>>51818852
>>51820896
gonna be honest here; gonna go with the Athlon and the Titan X; GPU power has increased way more than CPU power
>>51820949
> being this stupid
I am actually posting from a system with an AMD FX 8370 and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 right now. It has no trouble keeping up with my friends' Intel/Nvidia PCs.
>>51817717
Your question has a hamartia op. The Athlon 64 6000+ can't actually run the gtx titan z because each titan inside needs 8x of bandwidth and the CPU doesn't have enough pcie lanes to support it. So I'll take the i7
>>51821008
So, would performance be poor or would it simply not work at all?
>>51821029
It would work just fine, just at lower bandwidth
My life wouldn't be very long either way
Google gave me this, this cpu is clocked to be slower than an E8400. It is sort of cheating but I'd expect performance to be around this area.
6000+ with a Titan for sure.
>>51820972
You know the titan z is better than the titan x right?
>>51822466
Thats a 9800 GX2
>>51817717
I7 no doubt. The Titan z would be massively bottlenecked by that could and it would be slow for every day to day task. On top of that, the AMD CPU wouldn't have USB 3, SATA 3, PCI-e 3 or DDR4.
At least the Intel system with a good sad would be pleasant to use for most tasks.
