I'm sorry about this but I'm freaking out.
I bought a new msi gtx 980ti and it's reaching danger close Temps even with its fan speed at 100%.
I was hitting 70c at fan speed at 100 percent while in game.
>whatthefuck.exe
I bought another fan and it's coming in Monday Idk what to do man if I can't get the temp to 60c I might have to return the damned thing. Any ideas on what to do. I think it has to do with the cards design it's self it's not open and only has 1 fan. Idk I hope the fan coming Monday can make a difference.

70 degrees while gaming is fine, faggot.
>reference design enthusiast video card
I wonder where your handler was when you purchased this thing.
You know, cuz you're a fucking retard.
>>51816299
70c is around 150 ferenheit
buy another then it won't have to work as hard meaning half the temperature. ice cold 30c.
>>51816314
and?
the maximum operating temps are like 100 degrees celcius.
Op here
The damn card literally heats up in matter of 30 secs.
>>51816466
I got fucked when I orders it online it had a different pic of the card then what I got.
>>51816290
What cooling system do you have?
Case?
>>51816395
You still want it closer to 60 for longevity
>reference cooler
That's a big oopsie
70c is fine that's referring to the GPU its self ofc it heats up in seconds we don't have 100% effencent cooling
>>51816510
That's fucking retarded, you won't be gaming 24/7 and you guys are fuckjing consumerist pieces of shit that will replace your gpus way before they hav died.
Here's what they sent me
I had a 270x overclocked at 92c 24/7 for months no problems at all mining script coins then I finally sold it on eBay 70c is fine

OP give us a picture of the top of the card
>70C
>danger
What
70C is comfortable operating temp
Top of card
>>51816709
I orderd it online so I actually have to call the company according to my receipt
>>51816770
Jesus, yeah, return that and get a WindForce or something
Reference coolers will always add at least 10 degrees celsius compared to aftermarket
>>51816770
>bought a $700 card
>with a reference cooler
Like I said, where was your retard handler, retard?
>>51816854

>>51817012
Not sure if trolling or if you're an idiot
>>51817012
Nvidia doesn't sell reference cards direct to consumers
