I see those frames at 1080p. I don't see it getting 30+FPS at 4k in any of those tests. AMD may not have good drivers, but when Nvidia has worse drivers on Linux than on Windows, but gets better FPS than on Windows, it seems kinda bs.
fglrx is really buggy and the free drivers suck performance-wise.
nvidia is the way to go on =Linux right now. a few months ago I Amazon-refunded myself a 960 and while it should have been a near sidegrade from my 7870, FPS in some stuff doubled and I had a lot fewer compositor-related issues.
I usually recommend amd stuff to Winblows users, but on Linux right now it really doesn't hold a candle.
Why waste time working on Linux, they're superior on Windows, why should they waste time and money on a meme OS that nobody but NEETs and servers use? Graphics cards like these are aimed at gamers, gamers are on Windows. If you game on Linux, you're holding yourself back from the thousands of other titles that are on Windows :^)
