You're not a jew, you're a retard.
>>51813807
Being a jew who cares about money is not a meme, it was created years ago, 12 year olds saying a company is unrealiable because they read it online when it's merely a fail attempt to be funny is a meme, if you tell me why it's unreliable other than just saying it's a meme I'll take you seriously, fuck off

Seagate drives are known for poor reliability. Even outside of those 3tb disasters backblaze did an unfair comparison with they are shit.
>>51813882
See, this is a sensible person

Go back to /v/

>backblaze
Why isn't this a bannable offense yet?
>>51814127
>Seagate Internet Defense Force
Some of their data is still valid.
>>51814144
>using desktop drives on raid for servers
>removing usb external drives from their enclosure and using it for a server
All their data is valid but it means jackshit unless you're planning to build a server with desktop drives instead of enterprise drives.
Which is why I asked why isn't a bannable offense to post FUD yet.
>>51814239
They still fared worse than the other drives even if they were tested way out of spec. It's the equivalent of testing your gpu with furmark instead of a normal gaming load.
>>51814259
>>51814239
>>51814144
>>51814127
so the rest of the build is k niggas?
>>51814259
>It's the equivalent of testing your gpu with furmark instead of a normal gaming load.
No it's not at all. Furmark will simulate a load which your GPU WILL experience when running a game.
Meanwhile normal consumers, unless they decided to build a server, will never put their drives through the same conditions.
FFS Backblaze themselves tell people to not just use their graphics like they represent what a average consumer will experience.
>>51814342
>Furmark will simulate a load which your GPU WILL experience when running a game.
>>51814366
nice image response there buddy
Load is load for a GPU, Furmark might make your GPU reach 90ºC while your favorite gayme will only do 80ºC
It's not the same as comparing 24/7 of reads and writes which a server experiences compared to a decent amount of reading and some writing 8-12 hours a day.
>Gaming mobo
>2 x 4gb ram
You could've gone for a 980ti by buying a non-gaymer mobo and 1 x 8gb and you'd be more 'future-proof'.
>>51814429
Perhaps it was an exaggerated comparison. It's still not an invalid result, the failure rates are just way overblown.
>>51814452
Finally, but is the 980ti really that important? I'm on a budget of around 850 Quids (Pounds)
>>51814452
Also what mobo would be still be not shit and cheaper?
>>51814476
>It's still not an invalid result
I never said it was invalid, it is absolutely valid. Just meaningless to the average consumer.
>the failure rates are just way overblown.
Because they're using drives in a way they were never supposed to be used. Enterprise drives cost more for a reason.
>>51813684
any tips before I click buy
>http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6TL4Hx
>>51814489
It'll last longer
>>51814501
Just about any mobo with the same specs but without edgy colors and dragon stickers
>>51814519
You don't need a liquid cpu cooler.
Get a better hard drive.
The 980 is way overpriced for the performance. Get a 390 or something.
It's almost 2016, get an ssd mongrel.
>>51814545
>You don't need a liquid cpu cooler
I want a stable overclock
>Get a better hard drive.
Ive got a 2TB HDD already
>The 980 is way overpriced for the performance. Get a 390 or something
Im getting a 390x
>>51814630
You can get a nice stable overclock with an air cooler, which doesn't have a whiny failure prone cheap ass pump. I used a Noctua NH-U9DXi4 on my overclocked 4690k rig and it keeps it under 60c.
Don't bother with the 390x, the regular 390 performs 95% as well for $100 less. You can overclock it a little to make up the difference.

Seagate is shit-tier quality m8. Since 2006
Mate I'm 90% sure ur mobo needs ddr4 ram not ddr3 get a cheaper mobo and get some more expensive cooling dude your builds all over the place, take more time and really look at your parts and think do I need this

>>51814996
He fixed the ram on the 2nd link. Also check the compatibility list for that board because apparently it's picky about ram.
>>51815008
No.
>>51815039
Please point me to a good prebuilt that is around the same price. I would be very grateful.

you're kidding right?

They don't exist. There is a reason people build their own.
