well /g/ I have to say it's shit and nothing more than babby's first fisher price OS. I mean come one you can't even attach the menu bar to the application so even if you re-size the main window you still have to navigate to the upper left to access the menu. what a piece of crap OS.

No it is not, you can do this on Linux as well, most users choose not to do it because it's shit. You Mac people only love it because Apple forces you to. If Apple removed all apps people would love it, but for any non-apple user would consider it worse to not have that opportunity

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.

Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. Global menu isn't a problem, it's a thing you'll get used to. OS X is a really nice OS and you did well if all of your devices are working. Try it out.

Been using OSX at work for 2 years now (former winfag), I enjoy the unix experience, terminal and homebrew (I don't even touch .dmg files anymore, you can install everything with brew) and basically gets shit done better than windows. Only thing I hate is the fact you can't see files inside archives without unzipping them.
