I'd like some advice. Can anybody tell me a gaming rig for under 650$? Highschool senior here, no room to raise budget, 650$ is pushing it. Also, idek tbqh, but do all towers have vga? If so, I have a great monitor on hold at good will for 90$
I know this isnt a proper thread, but you guys are the best i know.

I make $650 in a week.
>only vga
>great monitor
>$90 at goodwill
i'm curios, what model is it?
also; are you buying prebuilt (I hope not) or building yourself?
Just so you know, with $600, you won't max any games out at 1080p.

You won't get much of a real answer here... So yeah.
But I guess the only thing you'll have to look at reviews and stuff will be cpu and gpu obviously, because for anything else, just go for a cheap 1tb hdd (no need for ssd if money is a problem) cheap 8gb ddr3 ram (best if 2 4gb ram, dual channel...), psus aren't that expensive either (just look for something with enough wattage for your components. There are some sites to see how much you need), cases you can get something nice looking and good for less than 50$, and motherboard just get something that fits your cpu basically... As for cpu, go for an i3 maybe or some of the cheaper amd's (there are some decent ones for like 80$, or at least from amd, which would be best for your build since intel is more expensive usually). Finally, gpu I'd go with amd, maybe r9 380 or something like that.
Also... Google, bruh

Still a great website for someone who asks
>do all towers have vga?
Do Skylakes really matter that much if you're on a tight budget and building your first PC?

$642.70 base. $575.69 after rebates.
Op here thanks everybody. I expected shit responses, its 4chan, but thanks for the good responses. I'll look at the setups you recomended.
You can rig up a killer Micky Mouse gaming rig by getting a complete, used ivy bridge desktop for like $200, a <600w power supply for $30 and a beast of a used graphics card. MFW gaymer idiots shell out more than a grand for a shitty system.
