How did functional programming change you? How is it good or bad ?
Clojure guy here, after learning clojure I became much more productive and everything I can do soo many thing with very less code. Feels great brah
>>51789745
it got confusing as fuck because my applications didn't benefit from it
Clojure is not a Lisp.
>>51789833
Then what is it you nigger nogger asshole clogger
>>51789757
Why? Can you give more info...I'm still in the learning phase and scared that functional programming is a meme.
>>51789856
Java with too many parentheses
>>51789924
See nigger there is a limit for trolling
OCaml blew my mind
programming will never be the same again
>>51789745
I think I'm writing better C++ after taking a few courses on Haskell.
>>51790124
I feel Ocaml is too old and gets updates very slowly, I chose clojure coz it's kind of modern and the founder is fucking genius.
>>51790140
I'm doing my CS hope clojure helps a lot in my future
I find FP much more intuitive. That's about it.
It has clear benefits when you get into more complex programs.
>>51791033
I still don't understand why FP isn't mainstream?
Are there any FP languages that have good performance?
>>51791579
Too many people can't understand recursion without crying I guess? Let alone the other stuff. I have no idea.
>>51789745
Completely turned my life around.
Before functional programming I was an unemployed NEET that lived in my moms basement, and jacked off to Ecchi.
But ever since I've learned Haskell, I've started exclusively jerking off to Yuri.

Wow me too
I used to love traps new I just love crabs
>>51792643
If you like crabs, you'll love Rust and its cRustaceans !
