Why would they spend their money this way and not on R&D or in lobbying for Net Neutrality. Or are they just using their dispensable money for liberal causes like they'd spend it on Ferraris and mansions?

H1-B

Look it up to find the answer.

To get cheap poo in loo workers into the country that do code monkey shit for minimum wage.
>>
they want to bring chinese like labour costs back home
http://www.breitbart.com/london/2015/12/09/future-doctors-engineers-65-per-cent-syrian-refugees-cant-even-read-write-claims-academic/
the migrant masses are largely uneducated and unskilled. For the skilled jobs H1Bs for folk sold into the american dream at a fraction of the wage
>>
>>51786829
That's the skilled work force. In a way, you should be glad that skilled people work at low (but not really inhumane) rates for you. Though you could offer them better conditions for staying / changing jobs, for starters.

The big problem only is that like with almost everything related to money and political influence in the USA, it increasingly goes into the pockets of a few thousand richfags...

But hey, everything else is communist socialism, right?

As if we don't already have enough.
Fuck off were full

Who is that fine Jewish man a traitor to?
>>
>>51787316
You don't overall. You have a gazillion diploma millers.

Without the immigrants and H1B people, you'd not be able to get half the high tech shit done that you are getting done now.
>>
>>51787344
such as?
>>
>>51787370
How do you even consider that a valid answer to his post? You're not even referring to one specific thing in it.
>You have a gazillion diploma millers.
>such as? (what diplomas)
>you'd not be able to get half the high tech shit done that you are getting done now.
>such as? (posing a question on what specific technologies wouldn't be done when he's making it perfectly clear he's concerned with quantity)
>>
>>51787370
Such as work US high tech companies do, and import all this skilled labour for?

Your H&R and business managers understand that -with the example of some select US university graduates- the foreign labour force willing to immigrate is usually just plain better qualified.

Under H1B and the like, they're definitely putting more attention on "qualified" than "minimum wages".
>>
so they want a cheaper workforce?
wow, capitalism surely is terrible! (that is, when it does not benefit me personally...)
>>
>>51787270
Usually they take unskilled immigrants, have our skilled population train them, then fire the skilled Americans and keep the low cost immigrants. Sometimes they even send them back and pay them even less
>>
"Philantrophy" is a form of advertisement
>>
>>51787495
Surely then you must question why foreign imports are so much more qualified than those taught locally?

Or are you insinuating that its because the foreign imports have more experience in the field. Then how can the graduates get experience if they hire more experienced people from elsewhere?
>>
>>51787692
Actually, no they don't, not under H-1B. H-1B visa owners have been consistently amongst the best in Sillicon Valley.

They'd still bring them in even if they couldn't push down wages. Companies would otherwise become uncompetitive or stand still.

>>51787712
> Surely then you must question why foreign imports are so much more qualified than those taught locally?
I read that you have around ~4800 colleges and universities? My idea is that around 4600-4700 of these should probably be fixed or closed. That shit is at most worthy of accreditation as vocational-style training with a certificate, not academic degrees.

Never mind the world is big, and those skilled enough to be sought after will kinda flock to better quality of life in some relatively comfy place, especially if they're hauled in at no cost and offered reasonable conditions overall.
>>
Isn't being strictly and outspokenly liberal and pro-immigration mandatory anywhere outside of /pol/?
>>
>>51788258
Lel, does it actually seem to you like you're forced to be?

they want cheap wages
same reason they are promoting for more females to get into CS
females are always paid less than males, so it's profitable for them
>>
>>51788328
>females are always paid less than males

Don't believe the feminist lies. Please show any evidence that females with the same education level and job tasks and responsabilities are being paid less than males at any workforce field whatsoever in any Western country.

Females only make less money overall because they have jobs that pay less or they work less.
>>

>As if we don't already have enough.

Not computer programmers.

They are extremely hard to find in America.
Source: I had to fly to America to hire local programmers for a client once.
>>
>>51786802
Because paying a ton of (educated) people costs tons of money. Imagine if they spend a few million for the campaigns, have tons of indians immigrate and then do the same work (but shittier) for a quarter of the pay! That shit drops profits very fast.
>>
>>51786802

companies want cheap workers

hot tip: this has always been the case. Until 1860 the south openly imported their labor force from africa, and from 1860 to 1910 companies would openly import wageslaves from china (as was the case with the transcontinental railroad), ireland and italy. In the 20th century, the farm lobby completely dismantled the quota-based immigration system so that companies like cargill could have an unlimited source of cheap, exploitable beaner labor. Modern dotcom companies are no different.

Or, in other words, as much as I want to be butthurt over zuckerjew again he's just doing what every other large company does in the US.

skilled migration is ok and benefits the country

but the problem is, open borders policies primarily help the unskilled hordes, and that harms the economy
>>
>>51788576
>open borders policies primarily help the unskilled hordes

True.

But only because they can receive welfare.

If you limit welfare to natively born citizens only people with good job prospects would come.
And those losing their job would go back because they would no longer be able to afford to live here.

More cheap indian labor = fuckloads more money than R&D in the short term.
>>
I liked Donald Trump's idea for the H1-B visas.
Yeah, I just said that.
They can have as many immigrant workers as they want, as long as they are paid competitively with US residents.
>>
Reminder that Apple, Pixar, Google, Intel, Adobe and other tech companies conspired among themselves not to poach each other's skilled workers, to inform each other when talent applied to each other's jobs and generally to avoid bidding wars that might raise skilled-worker wages. Approximately 100,000 workers in Silicon Valley and corporate collusion cost them approximately $9 billion in lost wages.

When will people finally realize that SJW's are a false-flag operation by the wealthy to distract from and disrupt movements like OWS?

Notice how it's always the rich people shilling this social justice and immigration BS. They want people all worked up over that instead of over how the oligarchs are stealing everyone's lunch.

Welcome to the war on the white world.
>>
>>51788361
This. Accounting for similar jobs and experience. Women only make 1 cent less than men. That gross gap that feminists show you is the average of the entire spread of jobs for the country for both men and women. Garbage collectors and miners will always be men while nannies and early childhood teachers will always be women. It's that way because neither party can jump into the other sex's work domain. Either due to inability to complete the work or social stigma.

Also how can feminist's say that women are oppressed if twice as many women are graduating from college than their male counterparts? Also do you ever see them standing up for their women in the Middle East? No because feminists don't care for women they just want to revert society to an inverted version that existed pre-1950s. With men at the bottom as slaves.
>>
>>51793145
Also, the non-whites posting here can't comprehend what it feels like to us. Our countries are being let to be filled by you. It doesn't matter if you're a 'good engineer/employee', there's always a more suitable European one who deserves your job in our countries.

EVERY non-white person in Europe is a part of the wave of darkness cast upon us by the enemy.

If you had a decent tax system these guys would be paying for your dads pension in ten years. If you had a decent tax system these guys would be helping to pay for the roads. If you had a decent tax system these guys would help put your kids through school. If you had a decent tax system these guys would be paying your hospital bills.

If only you had a decent tax system.
>>
>>51793514
What do you mean, more taxes on the poor?
>>
>>51793594
It is interesting to note that your tax system has been so bad for so long that you're incapable of comprehending a better one.

No, I don't mean more taxes for the poor. A better tax system is a very complicated thing on the macro scale. Your entire tax system needs to be turfed out and remade from the ground and up.
>>
>>51793594
Just put an out of country tax on their income, sort of like how colleges implement an out of state tuition cost for students that don't live in the state.

It's a perfectly legal thing to do because foreign countries do it to American businesses all the time. It's only fair.
>>
I'll never understand this shit what should happen is that if there is a lack of workers in a particular industry then they should hand out these work visas but importing people to do a job that can be done by people in the country can do should come with a fee like a penalty tax.
>>
>>51793179
>there's always a more suitable European one who deserves your job in our countries

And they get the jobs too. The problem is NEETs on the internet who are obviously less talented than skilled immigrants and they're their mediocrity is rejected in the global marketplace of human resources.
