What's even the point of buying a fury x?

There are people with brains (unlike you) who don't base their purchases on 1. latest hardware like a good goy 2. shit lists made by corrupt reviewers 3. ebin memes like le btfo

>What's even the point of buying a fury x?
Fanboyism.
>>51785513
The point is buying 2.
Crossfire BTFOs SLI.

It's not made by Nvidia

In games with specific CF profiles, from what I've seen forcing sli/cf in games without specific profiles will result in terrible scaling on the CF side.
This is however only something I see with my brothers 290x's. Idk how the fury x does.

kek, op you just got told very hard here
might as well kill yourself while you're at it

>latest hardware like a good goy
Not latest hardware, best performance.
>shit lists made by corrupt reviewers
Source. Babel is the least corrupt considering they retest every card in every game. Much better than sites that try to pass off games performance from 6 months ago as current by just moving benchmark numbers over.

That's like asking what's the point of buying a Samsung or an iPhone.

AMDfags upset their "overclockers dream" can't even beat it's competitor at stock. (Who ironically is an overclockers dream since you can get up to 20-30% extra performance out of the 980ti.)

desu I bought it because I wanted a watercooled card for the same price as the green teams competitor. Thing is as quiet as can be.

New drivers actually put the fury x ahead of the 980 ti.
Of course then you can just overclock the 980 ti to be faster, but the fury x still usually wins in crossfire.

These are with the latest drivers. Crimson version of 15.11 and 359.00
I'm not disputing it has better crossfire scaling, I haven't seen recent testing but that's an entirely different discussion.
