None, because I have a phone I'm happy with and don't need to spend money just because something is on sale.

every heard of a backup phone
>>51746974
Bought four. Gave 2 to a coworker for free.
Gave one to a kid. And I have the last one as a daily driver with an att sim.
>>51747107
I have a good job. I make enough money that if something happened to my phone I would just go get another one.
>>51746974
Bought 5, guess i am a pretty greedy guy
>Gifted one to my little cousin. He always wanted a personal phone to play games on.
>Gave one to grandma, she dropped her old one in the gutter
>use one as a minimal home server, breddy good
>2 are still unopened
None because I'm not American, sadly.
>>51746974
one, still haven't opened it

What's the deal with this phone? How does it compare to flagships?
It almost seems like a waste, but I'm probably way out of the loop here.

>What's the deal with this phone? How does it compare to flagships?
Its a low end phone but you cant really notice that just by looking at it, it performs alright, can run all your basic applications, light internet browsing and other stuff.
Except that its not really for heavy games or media consumption

its also a great back up phone with stock android, LTE, and works on verizon, att, and tmobile

i got two listed on eBay right now for 3x the price i paid.
>>51747536
its my daily driver
I disabled animations and its smooth as fuck. Also using Nova Premium speed things up.
screen res COULD be bigger, but the quality is suprisingly good

I put in a 32 GB micro sd card to use it as a FTP server, it works well without a problem.
Also since i dont feel like keeping my main rig on all night long just for torrenting stuff, i use it to download stuff too.
Thinking of running an email server on it too, but seems like my shitty ISP is blocking.
Power consumption is really low too
>>51747536
It's a solid budget phone at its usual price and for ten bucks is a steak as a backup at the very least. What makes this deal special is that it was the Verizon version which you can unlock the radio on to use on other networks. You get that great subsidized price but without the carrier lockdown. Down side is no root or boot loader unlock currently but people are looking into it.
I upgraded from my first shitphone to this and its quite nice imo. I'll upgrade to something nicer only because of the lacking camera and no gyro, oh and for a little more internal room.
>>51747673
Yeah internal storage hurts. I wud jimp to OPX but I don't switch unless it breaks down on me
>>51747469
How did u go about turning it. Into an ftp server?
>>51747469
please explain how this can be used as home server
>>51747792
I just installed this tiny application
>https://code.google.com/p/swiftp/
Oh right i forgot to say, but i have a UPnP application on it too, it lets me stream stuff from the Moto E (home server) to my TV
Its neat

I'm always jelly of Americans when they have great deals like this.
already have a phone, and don't need some other device.
verizon sucks anyhow
