Do you get the feeling Microsoft developers who aren't on board with the largest mass surveillance ever are being this inept on purpose to warn the world not to use their product?
>>
>>51739409
>Microsoft devs are only incompetent on purpose
lol, the mental gymnastics winfags will go through in order to justify their shitty software provider.

Did you even read the whole post?

you're an idiot. windows is THE best working OS on the market. linux has it's place as well, but windows is a server, a desktop, a mobile and embedded os that works near flawlessly on all those platforms.

also, im not going to have this argument with a NEET. unless you've worked in a professional environment as a sysadmin working with linux on all those platforms then you have no idea what you're talking about and need to shutup.

Don't buy American tech if you care about privacy.

It is great as long as none of the data you're working with is important.

They are basically sharing it all with an authoritarian regime.
>>
>>51739662
>being this paranoid
well that happens
>spreading your paranoia onto other people on public forums
GTFO unless you have evidence actual data is being shared
>>
>>51739662
yeah you are right, all of the business that handle hippa and pci information have data that isn't important.

I never claimed the IT staff there was competent. If they were they wouldn't use a spyware trojan like Windows.
>>
>>51739609
lol
care to explain why Windows has the smallest market share in the mobile market?

if you think that because enterprises use windows makes the staff incompetent, you clearly do not live in the real world

you do a great job of trying to fit in here though
>>
>>51740088
If gentoo is so good why do only neckbeards use it?
>>
Well I'm thinking of upgrading from windows 8 to windows 10. What do you guys think?
>>
>>51739409
>implying there is privacy in the modern world
You might as well just let Microsoft know about the mlp porn you watch when no one is around, anon. It's not like they don't know about it already.
>>
>>51740216
I'm gonna ride out Windows 7 until 2020.
>>
>>51740216
As long as you have nothing to hide Windows 10 is fine so why not?
>>
>>51740610
Have fun manually selecting and installing updates that aren't Win 10 until then.
>>
>>51740679
Honestly not that big a hassle at all.
>>
>>51740610
Then what in 2020?
>>
I've never liked encryption, like what if I encrypt my whole drive and then one day for whatever reason it says my password is incorrect? I'd be screwed.

That's what scares me
>>
>>51740716
Any new updates that are sketchy? The last one I saw was some update that had no description

Think it updated windows update
>>
>>51740778
So far I've only skipped the Windows 10 nagware update and all the "recommended" ones. But don't take my word for it, I'm not really the best person to ask.
>>
>>51740744
I guess we'll see. Hopefully Linux will have better gaming support by then but I'm not holding my breath. If the privacy problems with Windows 10 hit a critical mass then there might be some kind of solution or work-around.

are you saying only neckbeards use mobile windows?
>>
>>51739609
Then why does everything perform notably worse on Windows?

Quads have spoken.

Are you implying Linux isn't all these things as well?

If it was good enough for big businesses (it was only included in enterprise/ultimate editions), it was as secure as it gets.

if it was compromised, they'd include it in the home editions

No.

We get it, your a linux crybaby, but you keep posting this register tabloid like it is some kind of proof. How long are you going to keep shilling your fucking blog?
