Pentium 4 up in bitch. Have the mobo and 756mb ddr ram to go with it. Planing on using it to delve into the wonderful world of linkeks.
>>
Lol, lin-keks got edited to linkeks?
>>
Lin... Keks...

So the word c.u.c.k. gets edited to kek automatically... Oh 4chan, going down hill at mach speed.

Hello, newfriend.
>>

it's been this way for literally over a month. how are you this dense?
>>

I don't use the term kuck often.
>>
>>51723528
It has been a massive improvement, no more "s.m.h t.b.h f.a.m xDD" sperging.
>>
>>51723957
Fair, I never used that jargon much anyways.
>>
>>51723957
No it hasn't, because it's just been replaced with baka desu senpai. I guess if you're a stinky, fat weeaboo that might seem like an improvement.
>>
>>51724022
that's the point, normies that use normie speak are discouraged, of course it didn't matter in boards like /sp/, but it keeps it more contained.

Haha...basically everything I use is old. Mostly because I'm poor.

>decade old thinkpad
>CRT monitor and TV
>VCR
>28 year old mountain bike I ride to my minimum wage job

I also have a pretty big Polaroid collection that I started before the hipsters latched onto them if that counts.

You don't need the latest and greatest anon, as long as what you have meets your needs.

Lolno it's shit. 576i/25 PAL. And overscan/underscan changes depending on brightness. 100% black -> 100% full white scales the picture by about 10%, so I either have black bars or some of the image missing.

I'm using a P4 and 768mb too. This shit can hold Windows 7?
>>

No, xp at best. More ram is needed for 7.

A Yamaha R-500 Stereo Reciver from 1980 (35 years). This thing is good for driving my Technics SB-X700 speakers from 1984. This receiver is also a very good and powerful headphone amplifier and has now problem driving my AKG K702.

I also have a AKG K340 in the mail from the same time period.

Nice thing about audio equipment is it never goes outdated.

le new luddite thread

You do not "use" this tech, you take pictures of it and show it to other people who don't care. This is called masturbation.

Proof: actually use this garbage and you wouldn't keep it anymore. you inherited someone else's nostalgia from the thrift store
>>
>>51724022

Tbh senpai baka, fukeking, kikes, jews, niggers nigger, 7

Let's see. Never use those words, so I don't know what triggers the posting system.
Anyone knows more triggers?

Op here, I actually used this Processor. It was in a prebuilt my parents bought me as a highschool grad gift. Retired the system, found it in my storage unit and I plan to repurpose it. So you can kindly take your self righteous attitude and fuck off.

A closeup on the Technics SB-X700.

They do have some cosmetic damage on the cabinet but that's because i found them on the side of the road a month back. Since then i have restored them since the bass driver had rotted foam. Learned how to re-foam a honey comb driver and the least i could say is that it was a bitch to do. They work perfectly and are better than the Klipsch pro media speakers that i was using before.

I know it's not old, but it hurt having to replace my perfectly functional i7-2600k because the motherboard fucked up and I can't find a reasonably priced replacement. ASRock, never again.

Over the course of running my computer design firm, I ended up acquiring hundreds of old CPUs, sound cards, mobos, fans..

Just about everything that was shoved into 1997-2005 PCs.

I'll post a pic of some of this shit, but for now, enjoy this - my JVC -97 series stereo system with jvc sp-555 speakers, circa 1989, along with my Technics SL-DL5 phonograph.

I have around 2GB of RAM paired to a 511 with a FX 5200 for Windows 7, but the processor is literally housefire at 60C idle (which it already is when it had XP).

Frankly I'm just holding out for Kaby Lake or Zen, cause I already have a Haswell PC and by the time I save up Skylake would be late.
