I just had an idea which could maybe help AMD become competitive again. It's the Johnson processor.
It would be intended to be good for multithreaded workloads as well as single threaded ones. There's be two or four Johnson cores for single threaded applications, and then maybe 16 to 32 MicroJohnson cores that would be slower, but would possibly help for multithreaded stuff.
What do you think?
For the marketing they could use a cool black guy wearing a suit or something. He'd be like a human face for the Johnson processor.

Why do i get the feeling this is a setup for an elaborate penis joke?
Having a large bottleneck inside the CPU is not a good idea, btw. This idea is the same as using crossfire x to try and use a 390 and a 370 at the same time, it just won't work well
