Same here. Battery improved by 60% for me.

Thanks Google!

It's alright. My Nexus 5 is reaching its autumn years, though. Time for a new device, but I haven't decided between the 6P or the LG V10.

I am loving it senpai, my htc one m8 with sense roms used to be dead by the evening. now, with 6.0 gpe. I only charge it every second day, and it's overclocked as well. I ve heard that some people are getting 5+ days with certain performence tunings

OP here.
It's not a meme post and I'll tell you why.
Before 6.0 my battery would be around 45 to 50 percent after lunch - I wake up at 4:35am. Put on Pandora or play music. Now I'm in the low 70's. Finally this big battery is operating efficiently.

Does anyone know if there's a way to tweak the doze settings? I just want to lower the activation time from 30 minutes to 10 minutes and remove any motion sensing.

I keep my phone in my pocket almost all the time, so even if I go a few hours without looking at it I think it's stupid that doze won't activate. Any help would be appreciated.

Just buy a 10000mAh external battery and buy a powerful phone, it makes sure it doesn't slow down unbearably within a year. It's not that difficult to carry around a little battery stick for how much longer in battery it gets you.

How is cm13 on opo? Anything I should know? Been putting off the nightly update for a while because project deadlines are all due now that its almost Christmas.
Specifically:
>battery life and doze
Will it actually help because I already take immense advantage of permission and greenify
>features
Any new functionalities?
>benchmarks
Is the os more efficient yet
>AK kernel and TWRP
Will my opo get fucked because I have both of those

Pretty excited if it all works well though

I got this app before but I'm not sure if any of the changes would even save. Every time I applied one of the profiles the numbers would all change, and then I hit save.

If I reopened the app though all the numbers were gone. Also, I don't think this app let's me completely remove the motion sensing.

Its not even just the up though. I honestly don't mind material design anyway. I'm talking about all the under the hood stuff. Shit like memory leaks and wake locks that weren't really a problem with Kit Kat, at least not to the extent that Lollipop has them. Is it too much to ask that Google build upon previous successes rather than introducing shitty bugs in the name of progress?

Same phone. Basically me right now. Are there any bugs on the gpe? There's supposed to be an official 6.0 w/ sense update from HTC. Would you ever consider using that instead?

No, I'm still waiting for the custom rom because cukniggermod doesn't supports my phone.

I still don't have it on my droid turbo

My battery was great on 5.1 until I got a small update a few months ago from a soak test I was in and it went to shit. I've thought about factory resetting it but it'd be a hassle
>>
>>51719111
i (bravely/stupidly) flashed the first nightly. battery life and performance was fine but then it bootlooped after i changed the icon theme and i ended up having to clear data to get it to boot again. this all now seems to be fixed.
mobile data didn't work at all for me initially. it now works most of the time but you might need to toggle flight mode if it stops. you can work around this with tasker.
currently i've had just over 6 hours of screen-on time and have 35% battery remaining. i don't even bother with greenify any more.
twrp won't cause you any problems but i don't run a custom kernel so couldn't comment. xposed runs fine though.
>>
>>51717132

I hate this update.

Wifi drops when I put the phone to sleep, even though its set to be always on. That way I cant get notifications for new mails, messages, etc.

Also if I switch the wifi on from a widget, it takes >30 secs to activate. If I switch it from the swipe-down panel and then go in to the more detailed wifi menu, it connects instantly.

Pretty annoying.

I even had that problem on Kit Kat. I think its just an Android quirk.

Damn, I'm trying pretty hard and I get to 6hrs SOT with ~5% left.

This has to be a scam. No android device can go for that long. Even my 4000mah battery cant do better than 7hrs SOT (normalfag brightness, bluetooth and gps on all the time though) on kit kat which was the last good android for battery.

Maybe its the one who will bring balance to the batteryforce.

Is there another way of controlling app permissions for someone whose phone has not received the 6.0 update yet (and probably won't receive it at all)?
Does it involve rooting? And if yes, how much of a hassle is it to root? Will any functions be affected?
